“STÜBERL” TEPIDARIUM
After a sauna session and an ice-cold shower, there’s hardly anything better than balancing your body on a heated lounger. This ergonomically shaped lounger is ideal for relaxation between sauna visits.
PANORAMA TEPIDARIUM
The wooden heated lounger is designed with a natural, body-conforming shape. You can relax and unwind on the heated wood, which radiates pleasant warmth to your body without putting strain on your circulation. Enjoy the wide view of the garden.
LAWN AREA
In summer, the large lawn area with sun umbrellas and comfortable loungers invites you to relax and feel good.
Sauna
Relax after an active day in the Zillertal mountains in our sauna & wellness area. The harmonious architecture and stylish interior design in our aparthotel, especially in the relaxation area, create a soothing atmosphere. The fragrant wood, the pleasant stone floor, and natural lighting provide peace & relaxation. You have access to 3 different saunas: a Finnish sauna, a bio-pine sauna, and an infrared cabin.
FINNISH SAUNA
The word "sauna" comes from Finnish and means "wooden room." The Finnish sauna is one of the most traditional forms of sweating and has been practiced for centuries. Our Finnish sauna operates at a temperature between 85°C and 88°C with a relatively low humidity of 10 to 30%. After a sauna session, which should last about 8 to 15 minutes, you can cool down in our adjoining relaxation room. A refreshing footbath is also available for you.
BIO-PINE SAUNA
The bio sauna reaches a temperature of about 70°C and a humidity level of up to 45%. The bio sauna is generally considered to be skin-friendly and health-promoting. The soothing scent of pine wood is said to have life-extending properties.
INFRARED CABIN
The infrared cabin warms the body not through hot room air, as in a Finnish sauna, but through infrared radiation generated by infrared heaters.
This creates a pleasant warmth, deep relaxation, and intense therapeutic sweating. However, the air temperature remains at a relatively low level of 40°C to a maximum of 60°C, making it easier to breathe, less stressful on the circulatory system, and improving oxygen supply to the body.
Positive effects of the infrared cabin can be seen in muscle tension, joint and rheumatic diseases, and in the prevention of heart and circulatory diseases.
