Our aparthotel is located in a quiet, sunny area at the entrance to Mayrhofen in the Tyrolean Zillertal. In just about 6-7 minutes on foot, you can reach the center of Mayrhofen. During the summer months, our beautiful large garden, which borders open meadows, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. Experience a summer holiday in the stunning Zillertal at its best! For a refreshing break, our indoor pool is available. Our little guests can have fun in our well-equipped children's playroom with many exciting games.
In winter, after a long day on the slopes, the best way to relax is in our wellness area with an indoor pool, Finnish sauna, bio-pine sauna & infrared cabin! For those who prefer a cozy atmosphere and like to end the day in a social setting, our lounge with an open fireplace is available. In winter, the ski bus stops right in front of the house and takes you directly to the Penkenbahn and Ahornbahn in just a few minutes. If you prefer to drive, you can quickly reach the Horbergbahn, just 2 km away, which also takes you to the Penken ski area. Additionally, all other well-known Zillertal ski areas such as the Hintertux Glacier, Zillertal Arena, or Hochfügen-Hochzillertal are easily and quickly accessible by ski bus, Zillertal Railway, or car!

History
The story of our Landhaus St. Joseph began in the summer of 1957, when we rented out the first 4 rooms to our guests.
In 1965, we added the second and third floors with guest rooms. At that time, the Zillertal was purely a summer holiday destination, and winter tourism was only starting to develop.
In 1972, we welcomed our first winter guests to our Landhaus.
Many changes took place in 1977. The carpentry shop, which had been located on the ground floor, moved to a new building 300 meters away. We used the newly available space to build 4 apartments on the ground floor. Additionally, the rooms on the second and third floors were converted into spacious apartments.
In 1982, we added the indoor pool with a sauna area.
In 2000, the indoor pool and sauna area were completely redesigned.
For added comfort, in 2008, an elevator was installed in a separate extension to the existing house.
In 2013, Landhaus St. Joseph underwent extensive renovations, and the wellness area was significantly expanded. Our efforts to continuously keep the facilities up to date have been rewarded for years by satisfied guests. Furthermore, as a special highlight and a result of our constant work on the interior, we were awarded 4 stars for our Landhaus St. Joseph.
